00 All right. What's up, y'all? Anthony Lee here. We're talking about the movie that changed what we did with our lives. >> Come on. COME ON. [laughter] >> Where's the ████ siren? >> You know what it is. It's me, Anthony Lee. >> Did you Did you guys ever watch Band of Brothers? >> Hey, I heard that. >> No, it was too gory for me. >> It's a show. >> Yeah, it's a show. >> It's like on the top 50 of like best shows of all time. >> Yeah. Like, of all time. It just had this 25 year anniversary thing. So, they made this like a group of veterans made a documentary about it. And one of them said the show got it right on screen and it helped him and his friends get it right when it mattered. >> Get it right? What does that mean? I >> I'm just probably dealing with PTSD. Just like >> you know like anything that had to closure some version of the experience or even just like immortalize it so that you knew that what you did was like I don't know just whatever it is.

50 >> Yeah. Whatever demons you're dealing with, it helped them like settle it. >> Wow. What about you guys? Anybody watch any movie or anything that changed your life or what you did with your life? >> Yeah, Back to Future DID THAT FOR ME. >> THE BACK to the Future. YOU GOT IT. YOU got it. >> Yeah, Back to the Future for sure. 100%. >> Do we have to do that with all our movies? You have to know. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Just like that. One, two, or three, though. >> Uh, you know what's funny? One is my favorite. >> Two had the uh most effect on me mentally. >> Really? Why two? >> I don't know. Oh, I think it was like because when you're a kid, you're really like >> two's hoverboard, right? >> Yeah. Yeah. You're like really mystified by the future and everything. And I think like in number two, Marty's like fixing I guess like what went wrong with his offspring. Like it's way more like I

41 guess like in the first one a lot changes with his dad, but then two more changes kind of with him >> I guess. And like so after Back to the Future when I was a kid and I watched it, I was like, I'm going to imagine that I already lived my life and I'm traveled back in time and it's my chance to do everything the way I wanted to do it. >> That's ████ deep. How old were you when you thought like that? >> I was like 13, 14. But it was like cuz I was always so scared to do ████ and I was like always like afraid of like what will happen if I do this or I'm hesitating too much blah blah blah. But then like if you think of it like you already did this before and you said no every time. >> So why don't you It's imagine you're doing it again and now you have nothing to lose and it's like if you were taking another lap at your life like how would you do it? Yeah. >> That's the way that I I saw it after seeing that movie. >> You must have been a ████ drunkard in

31 your other life then cuz you don't do none of that now. >> I know. I must have really ████ up bad. >> Damn. That's crazy. [laughter] Or you never did it so might as well. >> Yeah. That's how I used to play like uh make believe with with my life that way. >> Do you still have that philosophy or mentality now >> a little bit? I feel like it's kind of most of the crazy choices are behind me in a way. Like I look back and I'm like, "Oh, cool." Like I'm I'm glad I did all that stuff because a lot of the time like the only thing standing in the way of certain opportunities was just being too like I guess like afraid or hesitant of what might happen. But I didn't really have that like uh in those periods. Now it's like I got to think for more people than just me. So it's a little bit different. But like when I was like solo dooo going through life, I was like everything was a duh. Why not? >> Was uh when you were solo dooo, were you more yolo or less yolo? [laughter]

21 >> I wore polo, >> hanging with cholos. [laughter] >> Yeah, totally. I I absolutely was. Yeah. I was also way more like um like I left the house every day to do something and like when I like when I wanted to, you know, like and I knew him at this time like when I wanted to be a dancer like and uh I just it was a no-brainer to like go out and if there was a dance thing happening, I would just go to that thing. >> Was it one of those things sometimes you just leave the house just to leave it and then you'll find whatever. >> Yeah. Cuz remember like back in like the late ' 90sish people would just call each other and go, "What's the move? What's going on?" like what's and whenever it is even if it's doesn't even mean anything to you're like I'll be there >> like that's every single day was just like what's going on or people would call me what's going on what's and you would just automatically be like oh

11 we're going to go to this thing and they're like all right bet and that's it they just go yeah that was every single day for me >> I'm just going to call you randomly >> I can't even imagine acting like that now >> what hey what's going on dude [laughter] >> no what's the mood today what's the mood today >> nowadays you get that call and you're like uh what are you talking about >> hey why did you text me first, dude. >> Yeah. Yeah. [laughter] >> Hey, what's the move today? You're like >> something wrong. Is that why you're calling me >> back then? It felt like I used to look at all those things like they could be chain reactions to bigger events. >> They were. >> Yeah. That's why like Back to Future made me feel like that, like, oh, this one little thing could change all of it. Kind of like butterfly effect. But then I would just be like, everything would have that same value versus now you go, is that worth my time? Is that worth getting up, getting ready? You know, back then it was like, duh, it's worth it. like who knows who it could be, you know? And that's how I ended up with

01 like so many old friends cuz like I would just randomly do stuff and meet people and then just stay in contact with them. And the genesis of how I know certain people very close to me today is something as random as going to Mo Salsa at a certain time. >> Damn. When you put it like that, >> it all comes together. >> And then recently you're randomly at like someone's property that had like 50 cars there or something. That's >> Oh, yeah. >> Did you meet that person in Vegas, too? >> Yeah, I will. Well, I wrote on like I'm I'm on a Facebook page for like car stuff and then I asked if anybody I was like hey I have a picture of this like cut up datson and I was like I wanted to know if anybody could cut me this piece of a datson and then some guy's like I know a guy and then I hit up that guy and he's like yeah come to my property I actually have two slices of that datson. I was like who has that >> two slices picking it up?

51 >> Yeah. And I went and I I went and got it. I go to this guy's property and it's like a gated uh like like he just has a bunch of land and like a house in the middle and then like a auto shop in it and I and he had uh he said he had >> what part of town is it in? >> Uh like like South Point like all the way down. And he goes he's like he's got all these cars and they're not they're not just cars. He has the rarest ████ that looks like crap but like the VIN like he's got an original Elanor. He has like and it looks like crap. >> It looks like crap. Everything's crap. And I was like, >> "What else is he selling?" >> He goes, "I've been offered [laughter] he's he has like 100 something cars on that lot." And he said spread across four properties, he has 160 cars. >> ████ >> And they're all in Nevada and Perump. >> Is he trying to sell anything? >> No, that's the thing. So he said he has

41 he said he has a hoarding complex and he can't let anything go. He said he's been offered 100,000 for this, 150,000 for that, and he can't he can't physically let it go. >> What'd you have to do for those slabs? >> Well, those weren't actual full car, so he didn't really care. But, uh, everything else he doesn't sell at all. Like all the stuff you saw in that video, he won't let it go. He said he just he has like a complex he can't get rid of. Is that freaking weird? He's so like real about it. >> That is real. >> Yeah. Like meeting that guy, I'm like, dude, what a freaking amazing dude. >> Hell yeah. >> Yeah. But it only work because you are down to do the thing that becomes spontaneous with you. >> Yeah. Then that's a very spontaneous thing. Not everybody wakes up one day and says they want a a freaking cross-section of a car. >> What' you do with that cross-section? >> I'm I'm going to uh paint uh do it up and paint it and make it like a wall art in the house. >> Yeah. And then put like the wheels on it and stuff.

31 >> Dude, you're ████ kind of whimsical, dude. I think that's the right word to use. >> I'm trying to be as whimsical as possible without the gay part. [laughter] >> I didn't even think I didn't even think about the gay part at all. Okay. >> I only have a gay part. No women. >> Think about how you go about life and I'm like, man, that makes so much sense about who you are. >> You look at my Facebook, which is funny. My face, you don't think you could put like a quote on the top of your like Facebook or something? Or or even on MySpace, I would always have that same thing where it says like just a just a time traveler who went back to do it the other way. That's my quote. Like that's all I think about my life is like I'm just doing it the other way. So whatever I'm doing now, I look at it as the inverse of what I might have done before. So everything, every choice I make, I'm like I look at it as like the other choice. As odd as that is, >> Dann ████ hip-hop, dude. >> Is that hip-hop? That felt more R&B. [laughter] >> Felt more country, dude.

21 >> That's tight. Damn. Back to the Future did that to you? >> Cuz yeah, I don't know if I had a movie. There's movies that impacted me. >> Mine's not that deep. >> But I don't know if I have any that like >> kickboxer >> that transformed me like that. My biggest when I was in fourth grade, I watched Return of the Dragon and I saw Bruce Lee in that and I go, "From now on, I'm only going to wear kung fu pants and a wife beater." That was it. >> Are you talking about Enter the Dragon or >> Return of the Dragon? >> What's Return of the Dragon? >> Way of the Dragon Rome. >> You want some Chinese spirits? [laughter] >> The whole movie. He's wearing a ████ >> the Italy one. >> Yeah. >> Oh, movie. He's wearing ████ like a wife beater and then just kung fu pants. I swear to God that's all I wore when I was in like when I was a kid. >> Where'd you get that? >> I just I just had sweats. I like >> Oh, it wasn't actual com. >> Yeah. And then just wear a wife beater and I was like, "Yeah, I'm ████ Bruce

12 Lee from Way of the Dragon." Like that was like my version of that as a kid. And I'd watch that ████ movie every single day. >> How come you like that one more than the other ones? >> I like the Chinese spare ribs part, dude. >> The Chinese spare ribs part so freaking good. >> Yes. And for whatever reason, that was more relatable relatable to me as a kid. cuz it's like he's stepping up to the bullies and he's roundousing these dudes for whatever reason. So in my head I'm like, "Yeah, bro." Like I could I could take on 60 Italian dudes in an alley one day. [laughter] >> Remember was it Big Boss where he has a necklace that he swore not to fight and he has a necklace as a symbol of that? >> I forgot Big Boss. >> I think so. >> One of them Bruce Lee wears this like jade circle. >> That's That's the one. >> And it's a thing where like he it's a symbol of like I promised my master I would never fight again. And then when it breaks, you're like, "Holy ████ he's

02 gonna ████ people up." >> I think that was uh Big Boss. >> Yeah. I used to always act when I was a kid, I used to always act like I wasn't fighting because I made a made a promise or something [laughter] so that I wouldn't feel like a wuss. Yeah. >> All right. You wouldn't understand, lady. >> So I wouldn't feel like a little ████ I would like if people are ████ me, I'm like, I promised I would never fight. >> Yeah. Yeah. [laughter] It was like the easiest cop out. when in reality as a kid you should have sucked those ████ in [laughter] the face and kept it moving. Yeah, dude. That would have done way more for your self-esteem. >> Imagine he's wearing a necklace. The guy's just like [laughter] I have another one at home. That's the real one. That's the fake one. You think I would wear the real one out? [laughter] >> This is just a symbol. You have any idea how much my master means to me, you idiot? Yeah, I would do that in my mind. Like I would just try to cope and be

53 like when stuff's happening and I'm supposed to like be pissed. I'm like I'm not mad because I can't I can't be. >> You know what's funny too? I think I used to really like the movie Remember the Titans. >> Oh, that's a great one. >> And I used to watch this movie all the time though. Like I'm trying to think of the movies I used to watch all the time that like implanted something in my head. >> What did you take away from that one? >> Well, I think it was I'm trying to I'm trying to >> probably the line between blacks and whites shouldn't be so thick. >> That's what you saw as I was like I think I want to be a coach. just going to bring black teens and white teens together. I [laughter] think that's what I want to do. Cuz low key as a kid, as a kid, I was like really moved by that. I was like, "Yeah, that's how it should be, man." Like [laughter] for whatever reason. >> Obviously, I mean, it's also Denzel, man. Denzel is just so good. >> But I also think because I grew up with a lot of ladies, I was like, "Man, that's what it'll be like to be with a bunch of like boys, dude. Like a bunch

43 of the guys." And I'd be like, >> man, I'm going to be a part of that one day. [laughter] >> You know what's sad? those martial arts movies like like Rumble the Bronx, it does create this weird fallacy that you can like bring gangs together. >> Yeah. >> Remember when he goes when remember when after the fight in the headquarters he turns around and he's like and like he's like telling them like it's a shame we can't just have tea together and then they're like did he mean that? [laughter] Like ████ I really thought you could do that. I thought like when people are beefing you could just be like guys it's a shame we can't just get along and they would be like touched. I think if your kung fu is good enough, you could do it. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> But you HAVE TO BEAT EVERYONE'S ass first. >> Yeah. Yeah. Kind of. Kind of. >> That actually makes the most sense. >> It's like when guys when two guys say like, "Oh, I you ████ said this about my wife." They fight each other on the UFC and they go, "Oh, man. Great honor."

33 I like, "Thank you." >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> It's like It's like the emotions are high enough. >> You have to knock them out first >> together. [laughter] >> Yeah. >> But it's different when gangs are involved cuz you know, a lot of collateral damage. >> What did he say? Did he mean that? >> Yeah. [laughter] >> So stupid. Why do I have this vision in my head? What movie is it where they literally had like crips and bloods tie their bandanas together and lift them up? >> Meteor man. >> Was that what it is? >> I think I think Yeah. Meteor man when he bring he brings the crips and bloods together at the end to fight the golden lords. >> That's not the image I'm thinking about. That sounds funny as ████ >> I [laughter] don't know. >> That's what saved the war, dude. >> It's not Beat it, right? >> Michael Jackson music video. >> It's beat [laughter] It. >> It could be. Honestly, I don't know. Old times you just saw beat it. >> It's used a lot, I think. the unification of uh >> probably a specifically specifically blue and red. Yeah, >> colors. Maybe it's colors. Did you watch

23 colors? [laughter] >> Which one did that to you? >> Movie. [snorts] >> Yeah, >> dude. The same thing. I don't think it's that deep for me once I hear your story about how ████ changed your life to be a time travel. You ████ did everything the inverse. >> Yeah, that makes sense though. >> That's my That's how I used make believe. Yeah. >> Yeah. But I don't think I have that. I think I was like, man, I watched this movie 11 times in a row. I pretended to be this for like a year. [laughter] >> You know what I mean? blank man. Like I was when I watched Best of the Best. [laughter] >> Oh wow. >> Not your new Indian movie. Not the new Indian movie. That one was up there, bro. Congratulations on Best of the Best on Netflix by uh Music by Ryan, by the way. Anyways, um but no, that that martial arts movie was five Americans versus five Korean dudes like Dehan and ████ you know? I was doing Taekwondo Heavy at the time, so that ████ was like everything. I thought that was like the apex of my life's purpose, you know? And

14 then I was like, where's my ████ bastard brother with one eye? >> If only I had that to motivate me. >> Yeah, I need somebody who like, you know, >> I can be a world champion. >> I can't organically motivate myself. >> That That was That was a big one. >> Best of the best, man. >> That was Simon Re. >> Yeah. And Philip Bri brothers. >> Phil and Simon. Dude, >> they went all the way. They went to like Best of the Best three and ████ >> There's a ton. I think there's I think there's four. Yeah, there's four of them. >> I don't know if I watched four. >> My dad worked on those movies. I used to watch Best of the Best Four, dude. That's awesome, bro. I will watch it right now and I I will enjoy it. >> Can I watch it from the fourth and go backwards? >> That's how you're supposed to watch it. >> I watched it last week. >> John Wick thing. >> What? >> Ta >> number one. >> Yeah. >> Wow. >> He watches all this ████ So he I literally watched Best of the Best last week. >> Damn, that's tight. Does it look like 480p? >> No, it's good. It's still good. Yeah.

04 Yeah. >> And Philip Ree is always saving the babes in the end, too, dude. >> Oh, hell yeah. with it with his sick ass leather jacket and his ████ volume his hair and his >> and that cuz that was different all the other kung fu movies and like that we grew up watching it was like >> it never got the babe but he would always you know >> and he's Asian-American. >> Yeah. Yeah.
